U.S. President Donald Trump wants to debate Joe Biden on Joe Rogan’s widely popular podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience.
President Trump took to Twitter on Monday morning, responding to Tim Kennedy, a retired MMA fighter, who tweeted asking whether people would want to see Rogan moderate a debate.
"I do," Trump tweeted.
As Kennedy's tweet began building momentum on social media, the former fighter also laid out a plan on how it should be done.
"A long form debate with a neutral moderator. No fake audience reactions. No biased questions. Neutral camera positions. No sound bite length responses. Just their respective policies explained to us," he tweeted. "Please Donald Trump and Joe Biden make it happen."
It's worth noting that Rogan has said he would vote for Donald Trump over Joe Biden.
A debate on The Joe Rogan Experience would be meaningful for audio streaming giant Spotify (SPOT) - Get Report. The company roped in Joe Rogan's podcast in a "multi-year exclusive licensing deal" in May. Spotify has been heavily focused on the podcasting industry, bringing high-profile names like Joe Rogan and former First Lady Michelle Obama to the platform.
Spotify did not respond to TheStreet’s request for comment on Trump's tweet.
There are three official debates between Trump and Biden taking place on Sept. 29, Oct. 15, and Oct. 22.
