Cruz holds 28 percent of the vote, compared to Trump’s 26 percent. While both are still within the margin of error, Cruz has never held the number one spot in a national poll. Though Trump still beats Cruz by double digits in some of the other national polls. Sen. Marco Rubio maintains 17 percent and Governor John Kasich has seen an encouraging bump with 11 percent of the vote. All eyes are now on the South Carolina primary - held this Saturday.
