Some key states like Florida, Ohio, Illinois, North Carolina and Missouri held primaries Tuesday and it was a big night for Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. Clinton won 326 delegates on Tuesday bringing her total to 1,561. This is a clear lead over Sanders, who won 220 delegates on Tuesday and has roughly 800 so far. As for the Republicans, Trump won 161 delegates, bringing his total to 621. Ted Cruz scored only 26 and now has 396 delegates. Plus, even with Kasich’s big win in Ohio, he has just 138 delegates. 1,237 are needed to clinch the Republican nomination. Marco Rubio had a disappointing defeat in his home state of Florida, prompting him to drop out of the race on Tuesday night. TheStreet’s Scott Gamm reports from Wall Street.
