Donald Trump Agrees to ‘Problem Solver Promise,’ But Not Hillary Clinton or Ted Cruz
Donald Trump has taken the ‘Problem Solver Promise,’ but Hillary Clinton has yet to show her support for the pledge, which asks the next president to focus on creating 25 million jobs over the next decade, among other goals. The pledge was created by No Labels, an advocacy group co-chaired by former U.S. Senator Joe Lieberman (I) of Connecticut and former Utah Governor Jon Huntsman (R). ‘Ben Carson, Chris Christie, John Kasich, Martin O’Malley, Rand Paul and Donald Trump [have made the promise],’ Lieberman said. ‘It’s a great and diverse group, but we’re not ending here and want to get the other nine candidates to make the promise also.’ Democratic presidential front runner Hillary Clinton didn’t make the promise, at least not yet. ‘I don’t know why [Hillary Clinton didn’t agree to the pledge],’ he said. ‘I am encouraged by the six who did make the promise because they range from left to right and right through the middle.’ TheStreet’s Scott Gamm has more from Wall Street.
