Disney Moves Up Earnings Announcement due to Memorial Service

Family Entertainment and Media giant Disney (DIS) reports earnings today. They were to be released after the closing bell but were moved up due to the Memorial Service for Survey Monkey CEO David Goldberg, who was the husband of Disney Board Member and Facebook (FB) executive Sheryl Sandberg. In Disney's earnings release, investors will want to know how big of a hit the studio took this winter due to tough comparisons with last winter's mega hit, "Frozen". Disney's theme park business has been on a tear with operating income recently up 20%. It's consumer products, movie merchandise company, was also strong.
