Shares of Discovery Communications (DISCA) - Get Report were higher Thursday following comments made by the CEO at a Goldman Sachs conference. CEO David Zaslav said he's considering charging fans to watch the Olympics in Europe, adding that the games will be "profitable" for the company. The media giant obtained rights to pan-European sports media group Eurosport in 2015 and has the rights to broadcast the Olympics in Europe through 2024. While there's still some time before the 2018 games, shareholders were very excited about the remarks made today.
