Did the Democrats and Trump Just Fix DACA?

The two sides can't seem to agree on the outcome of their meeting.

Donald Trump has disputed Senator Chuck Schumer and Representative Nancy Pelosi's claim that the three reached a deal to protect DREAMers on Wednesday night.

The Senate and House Minority Leaders also said they would work with Trump on legislation to fund security on the U.S./Mexico border as part of the deal. The border funding agreement, however, excludes Trump's campaign promise of a border wall.

"We agreed to enshrine the protections of DACA into law quickly, and to work out a package of border security, excluding the wall," said Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi in a statement.

However, Donald Trump took to Twitter several hours after the statement from the Democrats to dispute the claim that they had reached a deal on DACA.

The President stated "No deal was made last night on DACA. Massive border security would have to be agreed to in exchange for consent. Would be subject to vote."
