Dan Dicker, Energy Contributor to TheStreet, talks with Brittany Umar about the strange opportunity in the refiners sector, doing surprisingly well even though gasoline prices are at the lowest levels in two years. Very cheap crude prices and the continuing ability for export puts the refiners at an advantaged position, one that will continue for as long as crude prices remain relatively cheap, a condition Dicker thinks will last for the next two quarters, at least. The best positioned refiners continue to be two of the largest spinoffs from integrated majors: Marathon Petroleum (MPC) and Phillips 66 (PSX).
