Denny’s CEO John Miller says the continuing improvement in the labor market means more people have jobs and they’re willing to spend money on eating out and he says that will be the biggest catalyst for continued growth in 2015 at the restaurant chain. Miller said sales at outlets open more than a year grew 4.7 percent in the fourth quarter, its biggest increase in over eight years. Apart from adding more restaurants across the U.S., Denny’s will continue its international expansion, it’s newest market is the Middle East where the chain will open its first restaurant in the U.A.E. this year. As for the menu, Miller said Denny’s will continue to test and tweak it’s menu. This year, Miller said diners can expect to see more Skillet creations and the addition of some other new items.
