But do you know the history of the airline and how it came to be one of the world's largest global airlines?
Well, let's go back.
It all started as a little aerial crop dusting operation called Huff Daland Dusters in 1924. The planes were used to battled the boll weevil infestation of cotton crops.
Then in 1928, Collett E. Woolman, an original director, purchased the company, calling it Delta Air Service.
A year later, the first passenger flight took off from Dallas.
Now as one of the world's largest global airlines, it helps more than 180 million travelers get to the places they want to go to each year.
