Dannon CEO on Danone-WhiteWave Deal, New Non-GMO Yogurts

The Dannon Company CEO Mariano Lozano was pleased with his parent company Danone's acquisition offer of WhiteWave Foods (WWAV) , last week. 'We are very happy that our parent company announced the proposed acquisition,' Lozano said. 'It is clearly a perfect match in terms of culture and mission.' He mentioned the regulatory approval will take months and the parties hope the deal closes toward the end of this year. The Dannon Company also announced new non-GMO yogurts on Thursday.
