Shares of Viacom (VIAB) - Get Report are up slightly on Thursday on reports that it is in talks with Chinese conglomerate Dalian Wanda Group about selling a minority stake of its Paramount Pictures unit. The Wall Street Journal reports the Chinese group is looking at buying a 49 percent stake in the studio. Viacom wants a deal that would value Paramount between $8 billion and $10 billion.
