Cyber Attacks Hit Energy Department, Compromising Sensitive Data
Cyber attackers successfully compromised the security of the U.S. Department of Energy computer systems more than 150 times between 2010 and 2014, according to a review of federal records obtained by USA Today. The systems compromised contained sensitive data about the nation's power rid, nuclear weapons, and energy labs. Meanwhile, cyber security company Palo Alto Networks (PANW) saw its biggest revenue gain in 10 quarters. It was the 5th consecutive quarterly beat. It also forecast better than expected growth as governments and companies spend more to protect themselves from cyber attacks. Box (BOX) posted 43% revenue growth and raises guidance for the year. Box's results were better than analysts expected. ADP issues its regional employment report for August. July Wholesale inventories are released.
