Jim Cramer Says Intel Investors Should Keep This One Thing In Mind

Intel's (INTC) - Get Intel Corporation Report  , which is  Real Money'sStock of the Day, first-quarter earnings beat analysts' expectations but shares of the chipmaker tumble after its outlook for the second quarter and year missed forecasts.

Jim Cramer shared his thoughts on the company's earnings report and the one thing Intel investors need to know.

"I think it's whether there really is data center weakness because that was where he really identified that things were wrong, considerable drop off much more than I thought. Much more than anyone thought."

Cramer added, "And is it rippling through to Nvidia? and I don't know if that's a correct read through Nvidia is an Action Alerts' name, but it's small, and you know how much we want to get bigger. So that is going to be my mission this week."

Cramer goes on to say what his biggest takeaway was from Intel's conference call on Thursday.

"More questions than there were answers last night. And believe me, I have made a ton of calls on this and I still don't know the answer."

The report is the first for Intel's CEO Bob Swan since he was named permanent CEO in January 2019.
