Cramer: Retailers, Consumers See Benefit From Lower Gas Prices

The additional spare change that comes from lower gasoline prices is being underrated as a reason why people are spending, says Jim Cramer. He says this is a giant tax cut, much bigger than anything the federal government can give you, and it's being poured into discretionary purchases everywhere. Therefore if oil keeps going down, it's going to be a pretty great Christmas and retail is where you want to be in the fourth quarter. But there's still bearishness everywhere -- TJX and Ross Stores were both downgraded by Canaccord Genuity Friday, while Nike was downgraded by Sterne Agee. Jim Cramer thinks those revisions are a mistake.
