Cramer: LinkedIn Was Simply The Deal Salesforce Couldn’t Do
Jim Cramer on reports that Salesforce was the second bidder for LinkedIn, behind Microsoft.
Salesforce (CRM) - Get Report was reportedly the second bidder for LinkedIn behind Microsoft, according to a report by Recode. TheStreet's Action Alerts PLUS Portfolio Manager Jim Cramer recalls that Marc Benioff, the CEO for Salesforce, told him in an interview after Salesforce's acquisition of software firm Demandware that the Demandware acquisition was 'a deal we could do.' Cramer added 'The deal they couldn't do was LinkedIn (LNKD) .'
