Millennials are wary of buying individual stocks, but are not altogether scared of Wall Street or investing, said Asheesh Advani, CEO of Covestor. Advani added that traditional Wall Street brands matter less to the younger generation of investors, while technology matters more because they adopt innovations much faster than their parents. He said Covestor brings the customer experience of comparison shopping, which millennials favor, to the world of Wall Street. Finally, Advani said the distrust in stocks is generally cyclical and eventually the investing public always returns.
