The San Francisco-based company said that it happened due to a “Global CDN Disruption.”
A CDN (Content delivery network) refers to a group of servers that work together in providing quick Internet content around the world.
Fastly, the company which has been in business since 2011, said that the problem has been fixed.
"Fastly has observed recovery of all services and has resolved this incident," the company said. "Customers could continue to experience a period of increased origin load and lower Cache Hit Ratio (CHR)."
