Consumer Related Stocks Not Showing Signs of Strength

Worries about Ukraine and a cautious consumer are sending stocks lower.

Earnings from big consumer names have given stock investors jitters this morning. Amazon warned that its revenue growth was slowing even though sales beat expectations. Colgate-Palmolive reported that its profits fell and revenue was flat. Even Visa warned that sanctions against Russia was going to hurt. Microsoft's profits took a hit on slowing PC sales and Broadcom reported lower profits. Ford said that the bad weather hurt its sales by three percent.
