Just moments after taking off, a commercial supply rocket has exploded over a Virginia launch complex. The unmanned cargo rocket was bound for the International space station and was loaded with 5 thousand pounds of gear for the six astronauts living on the space station. No one is believed to have been hurt in the accident and the damage was limited to the space complex facilities. NASA has contracted the Virginia based Orbital Sciences and the California based Space X company to keep the space station stocked. This was the fourth commercial rocket bound for the orbiting space lab and the first disaster to take place since the project began.
