The Dow Jones Industrial Average's race to 20,000 hit pause after a restrained day of trading. Benchmark indexes traded with slight losses for much of the day as crude oil plunged more than 1%. Goldman Sachs (GS) - Get Report , the Dow's largest weighting, was one of the worst performers on the index today. Goldman has been one of the biggest drivers toward Dow 20,000, contributing roughly 20% of its gains since election day. Twitter (TWTR) - Get Report declined after its chief technology officer, Adam Messinger, announced his resignation. The social network said its product, design function and engineering units would directly report to CEO Jack Dorsey as a means to flatten the organization. Finish Line (FINL) tumbled after lowering its guidance for full-year comparable-store sales. Earnings guidance for its February-ending fiscal year was also reduced.
