Wall Street rallied for its second straight day as better-than-expected JPMorgan (JPM) - Get Report earnings boosted the financials sector. Crude oil didn't fare too well, settling lower for the first time in four sessions, after a weekly read on inventories showed a steeper build than expected. The Federal Reserve's Beige Book indicated economic activity continued to expand from late February to early April as consumer spending increased modestly and labor markets remained robust. The release also suggested that the drop in oil and gas production had begun to dissipate in most districts.
