The S&P 500 closed out its best week of the year after Federal Reserve talk gave investors more clarity as to when a rate hike could occur. The Dow pared all losses suffered so far in 2015, closing flat in the year to date. Chipotle (CMG) slumped after the CDC said it was investigating more cases of E.coli infection at several locations. New cases have been reported at stores in states including California, Ohio and New York, outside of the initial outbreak in Washington state and Oregon. Gap (GPS) climbed despite a disappointing quarter. Jefferies analysts said earlier the retailer could see a turnaround next spring driven by new products and marketing efforts.
