Wall Street was a bit quieter than normal as traders escaped the office early for the long Independence Day weekend on Friday. U.S. stocks had recovered the majority of Brexit losses by the end of the week. The S&P 500 climbed more than three percent over the past five days. Crude oil added to gains in the afternoon session despite the number of active oil rigs in the U.S. rising over the past week. Prices have been boosted recently by fairly consistent declines in U.S. inventories and production. Harley-Davidson (HOG) - Get Report spiked on speculation of takeover interest from private-equity firm KKR. Reports have not been confirmed by either party. Netflix (NFLX) - Get Report rose after Canaccord analysts initiated the stock with a BUY rating and $120 price target. The firm said the video-streaming service has the potential to post sustained subscriber growth.
