The Dow Jones Industrial Average stretched its winning streak into a seventh day, securing another closing record for its fourth session in a row. Crude oil gave Wall Street a jolt, jumping more than 5% to settle at a two-week high. Advance Auto Parts (AAP) - Get Report rallied in its best one-day performance in roughly three years. The auto retailer reported a 1% decline in same-store sales in its recent quarter, less than one-third the drop analysts had anticipated. Dick's Sporting Goods (DKS) - Get Report slumped after issuing weak guidance for its critical holiday shopping quarter. The athletics retailer anticipates current-quarter earnings no higher than $1.31 a share, short of consensus. Stratasys (SSYS) - Get Report plummeted after falling short of third-quarter revenue targets and guiding for a weaker-than-expected full year. The 3D printing company said it is making progress with its sales turnaround.
