Citigroup Initiates Costco, Walmart & Target With Clear Favorite
In Monday's Analysts' Actions three big retailers get initiated by Citigroup while Nokia and AMC Entertainment get upgraded. Costco (COST), Walmart (WMT) and Target (TGT) were all initiated at Citigroup with a bullish call for Costco. The analysts there are starting Costco with a 'Buy' while rating the others as 'Neutral.' They say Costco has exposure to high-income customers the others lack. The price target for Costco is set at $150, Walmart at $83 and Target at $66. Shares of Nokia (NOK) are reacting positively to an upgrade from Oppenheimer to 'Outperform' from 'Perform.' The firm set a $12 price target for the stock and says Nokia is moving in a 'positive strategic direction" and will be able to reach the margin goals management has set. AMC Entertainment (AMC) was upgraded to 'Overweight' from 'Equal Weight' at Barclays. The firm believes the movie theater company has solid market share and can realize operating leverage. Barclays also raised its price target for the stock to $29 a share from $24.
