The nation's big automakers are releasing January auto sales on Monday and coming in mixed ahead of the U.S. Commerce Department's report on auto and truck sales. U.S. auto sales for January are expected to have been weighed down by snowstorms and the harsher-than-usual winter weather. Ford's sales fell about 7%, citing the bad weather for selling just over 154,600 vehicles. Meanwhile, Chrysler surprised by reporting its best January for auto sales in six years -- selling more than 127,000 vehicles. That's an 8% rise from last year.
