There's more bad data out of China. Manufacturing numbers from the country were surprisingly weak compared to analysts forecasts. China has also seen a collapse in exports and disappointing trade data. Oil prices are on their longest weekly losing streak in 29 years. A third of the S&P 500 companies are now in bear territory. Sysco (SYY) has named Nelson Peltz and Josh Frank to its board of directors. The move comes less than a week after the investment fund disclosed a 7% stake in the food distributor. FedEx (FDX) says it will formally launch its $4.8 billion offer for Dutch rival TNT Express next week. Foot Locker (FL) and Deere (DE) report earnings today. Baker Hughes (BHI) will be out the current rig count.
