Chevron (CVX) was one of the worst performers on the Dow Friday, falling more than 2%. The major oiler was under pressure after crude oil plummeted more than 5% this week. Prices slid after the total number of active U.S. rigs drilling for OIL climbed 21 to 659. Stocks sold off as all ten S&P 500 sectors traded in the red. For the week, all benchmark indexes closed with losses of more than 2%. Visa (V) topped the Dow, though, after beating analysts' estimates in its recent quarter. Payment volume increased 11% on a constant-dollar basis. TripAdvisor (TRIP) was one of the worst performers on the S&P 500 after slashing full-year revenue growth based on international click-based ad prices and currency exchange.
