Many retailers have benefited from lower prices at the pump and improvement in consumer spending trends, but some companies really stood out in 2014 like Cherokee Global Brands. CEO Henry Stupp tells TheStreet’s Jill Malandrino success can be attributed to a complete restructuring of the business domestically and internationally. Stupp introduced a proprietary 360 degree approach to working each of the company’s retail partners to collaborate with design, marketing, sales and financial support, which lends to more uniform global brands. Now, all of its core brands, including Cherokee, Tony Hawk, Liz Lange and Ale by Alessandra, are seeing growth. Stupp expects to remain on the growth trajectory due to these initiatives, brand recognition and the resiliency of the consumer.
