Cheniere Energy missed third quarter profit forecasts, reporting a loss of $89.6 million on Friday. The Houston-based company announced losses of 37 cents per share, falling short of analyst expectations. Shares in the natural gas company have risen 71 percent since the beginning of the year and 85 percent in the last 12 months. Cheniere posted third quarter revenue of $66.8 million, with falling oil prices being blamed for its faltering performance. Cheniere recently finalized a settlement to restrain executive compensation after the company CEO received a pay package worth $142 million last year.
