At the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas you’ll find new products from all the well-known tech companies such as Dell, Lenovo, Intel and HP. But, for each tech giant you encounter, there are dozens of smaller tech companies looking to cut through the noise and attract some attention. Apira Science makes what it calls the only FDA-cleared wearable device to grow hair in both men and women. VSN Mobil makes the use of 360 degree video a must for every video enthusiast. Stir Kinetic Desk is a height adjustable desk that learns your habits and senses your movement, and it also raises or lowers itself. And, Edyn is a solar-powered smart gardening system, which features a Wi-Fi enabled garden sensor that monitors and tracks environmental conditions and communicates collected data to the Edyn water valve in order to maximize plant health. They’re the gadgets you never thought you needed. Ruben Ramirez reports from Las Vegas.
