Over 400 business leaders have signed a letter defending the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.
The original signatories of the letter include the CEOs of Alphabet (GOOGL) - Get Alphabet Inc. Class A Report , Amazon (AMZN) - Get Amazon.com, Inc. Report , Apple undefined , Microsoft (MSFT) - Get Microsoft Corporation Report & Facebook (FB) - Get Meta Platforms Inc. Class A Report , with the CEOS of AT&T (T) - Get AT&T Inc. Report , Best Buy (BBY) - Get Best Buy Co., Inc. Report & Wells Fargo (WFC) - Get Wells Fargo & Company Report adding their names on Monday.
The letter stated "Dreamers are vital to the future of our companies and our economy. With them, we grow and create jobs. They are part of why we will continue to have a global competitive advantage.""
A number of CEOs also tweeted their support for Dreamers, including Pearson's (PSO) - Get Pearson Plc Report John Fallon, Apple's Tim Cook, ADL-CIO's Jonathan Greenblatt and Salesforce's (CRM) - Get salesforce.com, inc. Report Marc Benioff.
