CBS Says Dish May Black Out Network at Contract End Nov. 20

Dish Network customers may no longer have access to CBS programming, as its contract with the pay-TV service expires tomorrow. Both sides are arguing over how much money Dish should pay CBS to carry the network's programming. Dish Network has 14 million subscribers who also don't have service from eight channels operated by Turner Broadcasting in a similar contract dispute, including CNN, HLN, CNN en Espanol, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, truTV, TCM and Boomerang. Shares of CBS Corporation are trading down slightly at $52.50 per share. The stock is down 17.6% year-to-date. Meanwhile, shares of Dish Network are up almost 8% trading at $73.11. Its stock is up 26.2% since the start of the year. TheStreet's Scott Gamm has details from New York.
