CBS and Dish Network have come to a short-term agreement, preventing a potential blackout for millions of satellite TV subscribers. While negotiations continue, the companies have agreed to a short deadline extension to decide the monthly price per subscriber that Dish would pay to carry CBS. CBS has been trying to renew its deal with a substantial hike in its fees. Other points of contention reportedly include Dish's 'Auto Hop' feature that allows users to skip commercials and CBS' streaming services and All Access product which lets subscribers watch shows on-demand a day after they air. Now, the companies reportedly have until early evening on Tuesday to come to an agreement.
