Electronic Dance Music is a genre getting massive exposure, not just from the legions of fans that support it, but also from Wall Street analysts. Sell-side broker recently initiated coverage on SFXE with an OVERWEIGHT rating due to its exposure to the $15 billion exposure to EDM. Analyst, Rich Tullo, points out in the initiation note, EDM is one of the few bright spots in recorded music and is growing much faster than Pop, Rock and Roll and Country Western. Cash Cash consists of brothers Jean Paul Makhlouf and Alex Makhlouf, along with Samuel Frisch. They explain to TheStreet's Jill Malandrino that Shazam has been a catalyst for exposure due to the capabilities the app has across multiple partners bringing awareness and revenue to the artists it represents.
