Capital Pacific Bancorp may focus on lending to non-profits and sustainable companies in the Portland area, but its niche customer base has not hampered its own profits or impressive financial results, says the bank's CEO Mark Stevenson. In 2013, the company posted significant year-over-year growth in earnings, total loans and deposits, book value per share, and return on equity. Stevenson says CPBO is one of only 6 certified B Corporation banks and Portland continues to be a vibrant market.
