Business Booming and Not Just on Thanksgiving Says Boston Market CEO

The number of guests Boston Market serves on Thanksgiving is 400% higher than a normal Thursday, said the company's CEO George Michel. Michel added that the company will bring in refrigerated trucks, portable dry storage units and temporary team members to expand its capacity for Thanksgiving week. He said same-store sales in the company's restaurants have increased by 25% over a three year period as the company continues to take share from burger-based restaurants and casual dining chains. Finally, Michel said the FDA requirement to display calorie counts will not be a significant change for Boston Market.
