Burberry Confirms New CEO Will Take Charge in July
Burberry says its new CEO, Margo Gobbetti of Celine, will arrive in July.
Burberry confirmed that its new CEO will take charge on July 5. Marco Gobbetti joins from Celine, where he has been CEO since September 2008. A veteran of the luxury industry, he has held positions at Valextra and Bottega Veneta.
Current CEO Christopher Bailey will transition to the role of President and Chief Creative Officer on July 5.
