Marcato Capital Management's Mick McGuire reiterated his bullish stake in Buffalo Wild Wings (BWLD) at San Francisco's Sohn Investment Conference, causing shares to spike as much as 3%. McGuire is a former Pershing Square investor with billionaire activist Bill Ackman, and has long been clamoring for a management shakeup at Buffalo Wild Wings. McGuire now says shares of the Ohio-based restaurant chain could be poised to triple if it is successful in converting its businesses to a more franchise-based model. Shares of Buffalo Wild Wings have fallen about 15% over the past two months.
