Buffalo Wild Wings Beats on Bottom Line, Light on Revenue
Buffalo Wild Wings posted Q4 earnings that beat estimates, but sales were shy of forecasts.
Buffalo Wild Wings posted Q4 earnings of $1.10 per share, three cents better than expected. Revenue came in at $341.5 million, slightly below the $347 million Wall Street was expecting. In the same period last year, the chicken wing purveyor posted earnings of $0.89 cents a share on sales of $304 million. Separately, Buffalo Wild Wings says sales grew 13.1% to $319.8 million. Same-store sales rose 5.2% at company-owned restaurants and 3.1% at franchised locations. As for the stock, the company's shares finished up 3.5% in the regular session and are up in after hours trading.
