British Stocks Rise Even as Voters Choose Hung Parliament

The British pound is getting whacked after the surprise U.S. election results. British Prime Minister Theresa May will lose her majority on the country's government--a hung parliament. A hung parliament makes the government weaker and makes it harder to get things done and could slow down Brexit talks. President Donald Trump will hold a press conference today where he is expected to talk about and maybe even field questions about the James Comey testimony before Congress. The President has already tweeted after a day long absence from the social media site. He said he was vindicated by the testimony and called Comey a "leaker". Taylor Swift is back to streaming music. The pop star will allow services, like Spotify, to offer her music. The announcement comes as rival pop star Katie Perry releases her new album "Witness'.
