British Prime Minister Theresa May to Assure Businesses About Brexit This Week
The potential impact of Brexit will be examined this week in the UK, highlighting the week ahead in Europe.
British Prime Minister Theresa May is expected to reassure businesses that there will not be a lot of negative fallout for them from the Brexit vote during a speech on Monday, according to Antonia Oprita, senior editor and columnist with Real Money. May will speak at the annual conference of the Confederation of British Industries. More clarity about the potential impact from Brexit could come on Wednesday, as the UK Chancellor of the Exchequer delivers his autumn statement. Oprita says it will be the first glimpse of the UK's future budget after the vote to leave the EU.
