Jimmy Choo is kicking off an initial public offering. The British luxury shoemaker made popular by Sarah Jessica Parker's character in Sex and the City might hit the ground running as early as this month and it's looking for $1 billion in valuation. The brand was founded in 1996 and is currently owned by JAB Holdings. Details of the offering are not available yet, but it is expected be to in London. Bank of America and HSBC were hired to manage the show and a quarter of the stake could be for sale. Jimmy Choo was preparing an IPO this spring, but had to pull the plug because of the lack of interests in the market. Jimmy Choo has over 150 stores in 32 countries. It's best known for the peep-toe heels that could set you back $2,000.
