Brazil's election took another turn on Sunday, with President Dilma Rousseff earning more votes than any challenger, but failing to win enough to avoid a runoff race with Aecio Neves. Kevin Daly, Senior Investment Manager at Aberdeen Asset Management, breaks down the race and how both candidates stand to impact Brazil's economy. Daly says if Rousseff is re-elected, we'll likely see more of the same -- including poor economic growth and deteriorating market response. He stresses that Neves' plan for central bank independence, more privatizations and trade deals with the United States and Europe stand to reduce the country's risk -- and having a man like Arminio Fraga be a part of his campaign only strengthens him.
