An investigation by Major League Baseball has uncovered that the Red Sox used an Apple Watch in order to gain an advantage against other teams, including the New York Yankees.

The Boston-based team reportedly used the piece of  technology to steal hand signals from their oppositions catchers during games, according to the New York Times. A member of the training staff in the dugout was apparently caught on video using an Apple Watch to relay messages to other players who would signal to teammates on the field about the pitch that was about to be thrown.

The Red Sox responded to the accusation by claiming the New York Yankees used a TV camera from its television network to steal signs during games. The Yankees deny the accusation.
