Boeing Playing Catch Up With Iran Deal Talks
It appears Boeing is getting closer to doing business in Iran.
Boeing (BA) - Get Report is getting closer to doing business in Iran. The aerospace giant offered Iranian airlines three new aircraft models during its first visit to the country in decades, according to the Islamic Republic's state-run news agency. Boeing declined to discuss specifics, but the airplane builder undoubtedly wants a piece of the action in post-sanctions Iran, especially after competitor Airbus signed a $25 billion deal. Iran's official news agency said Boeing officials offered 737, 787 and 777 model aircraft and that Iran was reviewing the offers.
