Boeing (BA) - Get Report has released its 2016 delivery numbers, which totaled 748 commercial jetliners, topping estimates of 745.
Boeing delivered 490 737 single-aisle jetliners, eclipsing deliveries for its 747, 767, 777 and 787 planes. The 787 wide-body plane clocked 137 deliveries, its second-highest selling plane.
Boeing delivered 185 planes in the fourth quarter alone.
Late last month, Delta Air Lines (DAL) - Get Report canceled the Boeing 787 order it inherited following its takeover of Northwest Airlines.
