Boeing tops analyst's estimates, as fourth quarter earnings per share stood at $2.31, compared to the $2.11 Wall Street was looking for. Revenue came in at $24.5 billion, eclipsing analyst's forecasts of $23.4 billion. Revenue for commercial airplanes rose 15% during the fourth quarter to $16.8 billion, largely on the heels of more plane orders. Boeing booked 432 net orders with a record 1,432 for 2014. Looking ahead, Boeing's EPS guidance for 2015 ranges from $8.20 to $8.40. Shares of Boeing opened Wednesday's trading day up 3% to $136.50 per share. TheStreet's Scott Gamm has details from New York.
