BlackBerry Is Developing an Anti-Virus Security System

BlackBerry (BBRY) is working with two car companies to develop and bring to market an anti-virus security system.

The system would work by scanning vehicles to ensure that drivers are informed if a virus is found, telling them to stop driving when a threat is detected.

Aston Martin and Range Rover are reportedly trialling the system.

Having lost a substantial proportion of their market share to Apple and Android phones in recent years, BlackBerry is hoping that this security system will boost their bottom line.
